Share an event: link, QR code and sticker

Copy an event's link, download its QR code and print a sticker people scan to register, and what to check before you print.

Every event has one link that opens its page, where people register. The Share this event tile, under the header of the event's page in the console, has what you need to pass it on.

  1. Open Operations → Events & Experiences → Events and choose the event.
  2. In Share this event, choose Copy link, then paste it into a message, a post or an email.
  3. Once the event is published, Open the page ↗ shows the page as people will see it.

Download the QR code

Download the QR code saves a picture of a QR code that opens the event's page. Put it on a flyer, a poster or a slide.

Print a sticker → opens Engage → Print studio with a sticker for the event that asks people to scan to register. Check the wording, choose Generate print PDF, then Download PDF. The button shows once the event is published, to teammates with the Communications permission. A sticker for a repeating event prints its next date. A session of a programme has no button: print the sticker from the programme's page, so it carries the programme's link.

Before you share

  • A draft's link and QR code open the event's page once you publish it. The tile says so while the event is a draft.
  • Changing the URL slug under Event details changes the link, and printed codes stop working. Settle the slug before you print.
  • The tile doesn't show on an event that is cancelled, archived or over.
  • For a programme, share the programme's link: its page lists every session.
